FAQ
-
 Do you provide wedding photography?
As of right now, Raydiating Light does not offer wedding photography.
-
What happens if it is going to rain the day of my session?
If we have an outdoor session scheduled and the weather looks like it is going to be unable to shoot in, we will find a day we can reschedule to. New England weather is very unpredictable so I do like to wait until the night before to make the call if needed to reschedule.
-
Do you provide RAW unedited photos?
The images in your gallery will be edited to improve lighting, contrast, color, and go along with my artistic editing style. Therefore, I do not provide unedited images because it does not reflect my work.
-
How long will it take for me to get all my photos?
All sessions will take 2 weeks to get the complete gallery sent to your email. If you do wish to purchase extra retouching it could result in longer wait times for the completed gallery.

What is the best time of day to book a session?
I highly recommend shooting an hour before sunset ("golden hour"). The light is dreamy and warm and a photographers favorite light to shoot in! I try to stay away from mid day shoots due to harsh light and unwanted shadows on the face. If you do want to shoot mid day, don't worry, we will find a shady spot to still get you beautiful images.
-
What should I wear to my shoot?
I would recommend leaning towards neutral and solid colors- creams, browns, blues, greens and black. Bright colors and too busy of patterns can be distracting. If you need some outfit ideas or recommendations we can definitely have a discussion before your shoot and go over options!

I have never had photos taken and I want to but I am nervous I will be too awkward. Help!
That is a totally normal feeling and a lot of people feel that way. But trust me, you won't look awkward in your photos! I will guide and pose you to make you feel comfortable and by the end of the session you will be feeling like a pro!
